AICAB, the Artificial Intelligence Cultural Alignment Benchmark, is made by ProlifAI Ltd. These terms say what anyone may do with its results, and what a report or a licence bought here adds.
Free to everyone
- Every round of AICAB is published in full: the questions, every answer, what the rules and the judges found, and the method. Reading it is free.
- Citing AICAB with attribution in journalism, research and teaching is free and needs no licence. Name AICAB and the round, link to it, and do not alter the figures.
Reports
- A report sets out a round's measures for one model or for every model, with their intervals, counts and the method, under a reference anyone can verify.
- A report is for its holder's own use, whoever they are, and allows them to quote its figures with attribution in their own work. Quoting a result in commercial material (marketing, sales, investor material) needs the quotation licence, which is free.
- A report may not be sold, republished in full or passed on outside the organisation or person it was issued to.
The quotation licence
- The licence allows one stated claim, quoted word for word as it was licensed, in commercial material (marketing, sales, investor material), naming the round and linking to it.
- It does not allow a claim to be changed, a figure to be altered or rounded in your favour, or AICAB or ProlifAI to be presented as endorsing a product, a company or a person.
- The claim must be true of the round it names. We may publish that a claim was licensed, and we will say so publicly if a licensed claim is misused.
What payment never buys
- Payment buys the use of the results, never the results. No one can pay to change a score, to choose or remove the questions of a published edition, or to delay or prevent a publication.
- A round run on questions someone chooses, or on their own model or agent, costs one price for everyone: what the models and the judges charge at their listed prices, converted from US dollars at the day's rate, plus 30% for our work, stated before it runs. Checking the keys, or writing them, is included; work we cannot do within that carries a fee agreed before anything runs. How much of it is published is the buyer's choice: everything, the figures only, or nothing. Payment never buys a change in a score.
Supply, cancellation and refunds
- Reports and licences are digital content, supplied as soon as the payment is confirmed. When you order, you ask for immediate supply and acknowledge that you then lose the right to cancel within 14 days (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
- If a report or a licence you paid for is not supplied, or is not as described, write to quantum@prolifai.xyz with its reference and we will put it right or refund you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Prices are in pounds sterling. ProlifAI Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction; if you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the law of your country.
